The innovative chrome bar drive system combines both the boring feed and rotational movements. It consists of a linear ball bearing unit that ensures smooth and precise motion, and a belt actuator that provides controlled rotation of the bar tool holder.
All operations related to the bar, such as manual movements, setting working parameters, and automatic cycles, are managed via a touch screen panel. This, when combined with an electronic handwheel, makes the use of the LBM950 extremely intuitive, simple, and highly productive.
The boring bar is held by three sturdy, movable arms, which provide high rigidity during machining. Additionally, perfect and rapid centering of the workpiece in relation to the boring seats is facilitated by fine adjustment knobs for height and lateral movements, complemented by a pair of centering devices equipped with dial indicators.
The versatile and practical fixture simplifies and accelerates the clamping of any type of cylinder head or block.
